Good to know

Questions? Answers.

The things guests ask most, before they book. Still stuck? The crew who lives here replies personally, usually the same day.

When should we come?

Peak season runs roughly November through May. We recommend a Friday start: fresh provisions land in Staniel on Thursdays, and flight schedules line up so you arrive with daylight to spare.

What does a charter cost?

It ranges with the boat, from $2,500 for a Center Console day trip up to $35,000 a week for The Palace, our Horizon 52. Most of the sailing and power cats fall in between. See The Fleet for each yacht.

Bareboat or crewed?

Your call. Take the helm yourself, add a captain who knows every cay, bring a chef, or go full crew for total relaxation. Not sure? We'll recommend based on your experience and group.

Do I need a license to bareboat?

No formal license is required in the Bahamas, but we'll talk through your experience first. If a week in the Exumas is a stretch for your résumé, we'll pair you with a captain so you still relax.

How many guests can we bring?

From an intimate two to four aboard The Classic up to eight on the sailing and power cats. Tell us your group and we'll match the right yacht so nobody's rattling around or bunking on the floor.

Is it good for families with kids?

Ideal. Calm, shallow water, swimming pigs, sandbars you can walk for a mile, and nurse sharks the kids will talk about for years. We tailor the route to the ages aboard.

How do we get there?

Connect through Nassau for value, or fly direct from Fort Lauderdale (FXE) for speed. See Getting Here for routes and airlines.

What about food and provisions?

Provision in Nassau, Fort Lauderdale, or from home, or shop the island stores once you land. Three dinners ashore are worth booking. Our Food & Provisions guide lays it all out.

Is there Wi-Fi aboard?

Yes. Every yacht carries Starlink, so you can take a call from the cockpit or ignore your inbox entirely. Also aboard: solar power and a high-capacity watermaker, so you're never tied to a dock.

How do we book or hold a week?

Start with the quick form on our home page, drop your dates, and chat with the crew. Repeat guests and our early-access list get the first call on the best weeks, so the sooner you're on it, the better.
